Holiday Shopping

As everyone knows Black Friday was this past weekend, the biggest shopping day of the year. This is the day that everyone wakes up early from their turkey induced coma to go shopping with about 70% of the states population all at the same time. Sounds like fun doesn't it? You get to jam yourself in line with hundreds of other people who are all out to get the same product that you want and are more than willing to fight over it. Other fun aspects of this “holiday shopping” are that you see all these wonderful sales on items that you want. You go to these places early in the morning only to find out, they do NOT have the product the advertised... but we have a more expensive model of the same type or your could shop around for more items. This tactic of bait and switch is used at just about every store around this time of year and is one of the many reasons that I do NOT participate in the "holiday shopping rush". All though I must admit, my wife and I did decide to go out that day... around lunch time to Milo's and get a gallon of milk at the grocery store. So I guess you could say I participated in Black Friday just a little, but aside from that, all shopping will be done online this year. You got to love having your purchases shipped directly to your front door with no line no waiting.
